Governance Overview
ZNLA is governed through a structured framework that ensures transparency, accountability, and effective oversight. The Association operates under its Constitution and applicable national regulations.
General Membership, the Executive Committee, Sub-Committees, and the Secretariat form the governance architecture that promotes laboratory quality, competence, and professional standards.
The highest decision-making body that approves policies, elects the Executive Committee, reviews reports and audited accounts, and provides oversight through the AGM and extraordinary meetings.
Provides strategic leadership between AGMs, implements General Membership decisions, oversees programs, supervises sub-committees, and ensures constitutional compliance; positions include Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Committee Members.
Technical & Standards, Training & Capacity Building, PT/ILC, Membership & Ethics, and Finance & Audit are typical sub-committees that report to the Executive Committee on specialized initiatives.
Manages administration, membership records, meetings, events, and documentation while implementing Executive Committee decisions and supporting elections and AGMs.
